Photos from St Edward's College's post 🏉 It has been another fantastic season for our U16 rugby team, full of memorable moments, hard tackles, and brilliant tries. Like every year, there were highs and challenges along the way, all of which helped shape this special group of players. The season built to a fitting climax with a trip to LSH RUFC for the Lancashire Vase Final. Chasing an incredible record of trophies every season, the boys went in full of excitement and belief.
Facing a determined Outwood Academy Haydock side, we found ourselves 21–10 down at half-time. However, true to the character they have shown over the past five years, the team rallied together, dug deep, and produced an outstanding second‑half performance to secure a 42–21 victory!
It was a perfect way to close an excellent five‑year journey. Huge congratulations to every player who pulled on the shirt for the final time; you leave a legacy to be proud of, and you will always be part of the St Edward's rugby family. Well done all!

Photos from St Edward's College's post đź’Ľ We were delighted to welcome OE Chris Lamontagne back to the College to speak with our Year 12 pupils about his career journey.
Now President of Fanatics Live, Chris is a highly successful entrepreneur who founded his first business at just 20 and has since held senior leadership roles across a number of global, high-growth companies.
Returning to St Edward’s around 20 years after his own time as a pupil, Chris delivered an inspiring talk, encouraging students to be ambitious, embrace challenges and view mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. He spoke passionately about the importance of trying new ideas, adapting quickly and not being afraid to take risks in order to succeed.
His visit provided valuable insight into the world of business and entrepreneurship, and we are grateful to Chris for giving his time to support and inspire our students. 40 Likes
