It was fantastic to welcome so many Old Edwardians back to the College and see our alumni come together to celebrate being an OE! It was a pleasure to welcome back Former Principal, John Waszeck, Former Deputy Principal, Dominic Mackenzie and Former COG, John O'Brien. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, supported the raffle and took part in the auction. Your generosity will help us continue to provide valuable opportunities, equipment and experiences for our current pupils. Photos from St Edward's College's post✈️ Year 11 spent their last morning taking a walk along Dunkirk Beach, giving them another opportunity to reflect on the history of the area and the events that took place along this famous coastline. They made their way to the beautiful seaside town of Le Touquet, where pupils had some time to explore and experience a little more of northern France before beginning the journey home. A huge well done to our Year 11s, who have been an absolute credit to the school throughout. Their behaviour, attitude and respect at every place we have visited have been fantastic and we are incredibly proud of them. 14 Likes
Photos from St Edward's College's post🍫 Year 11 spent the day exploring the beautiful city of Bruges. They enjoyed a walk alongside the picturesque canals, taking in the incredible medieval architecture and some of the city’s famous sights, including the Belfry of Bruges, Burg Square and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Pupils had some free time in De Markt, where there were plenty of opportunity to explore the shops and, of course, indulge in lots of Belgian chocolate! 18 Likes

Today we were delighted to welcome Lucas Yeomans, BBC Bitesize host, Edward Gorton from Prime Transport, Ryan Dobney from BBC Radio 5 and Tamzine Williams from the University of Liverpool. Our visitors shared their career journeys and experiences, giving pupils valuable insight into a range of industries, future pathways and technical careers. A huge thank you to all four speakers for giving their time to inspire our pupils and help them think about the exciting opportunities that lie ahead! 11 Likes
✨ A huge well done to our Year 10 pupils who chose to study Latin last academic year. Although Latin is not part of our College curriculum, these pupils showed fantastic dedication and achieved outstanding exam results. The Principal recently welcomed them for a special breakfast to celebrate their hard work and achievements. Well done Year 10! 13 Likes
Photos from St Edward's College's post🇧🇪 Another thought-provoking day on Year 11's Battlefields trip. Today theyvisited Langemark German Cemetery, Tyne Cot Cemetery and Sanctuary Wood. Pupils had the opportunity to see first-hand the striking differences between the German and British cemeteries, as well as experiencing more preserved trenches and gaining a real sense of what life on the front line would have been like. They then walked through Ypres Market Square before visiting the In Flanders Fields Museum. They ended the day at the Menin Gate for the Last Post Ceremony, a truly moving experience and a special way to bring such a memorable day to a close.🌹 20 Likes
