Photos from St Edward's College, Liverpool (Official)'s post 🍫 Our Year 10 and 11 Business classes went on a visit to Cadbury World on Wednesday. It was a great adventure uncovering the world of their favourite chocolate brand through a fun packed, educational day out. Students were fascinated learning about the heritage, the size and the scope of Cadbury’s company, its history and about its recent takeover by Mondeléz International.
They were introduced to the fascinating journey of Cadbury's family, starting from a humble beginnings as small shop in Birmingham selling tea, coffee, and cocoa drink to becoming the largest international confectionary brand in the world after Mars. They also enjoyed exploring part of the Cadbury’s factory – learning about the production process how they make, decorate and package chocolate, ready to be sold. Students also enjoyed the Adventurous journey of the 4D cinema experience. Hosted by Freddo and other Cadbury’s Characters, students virtually dived into liquidly Crunchie Rollercoaster complete with motion and seats. Students also benefited from 60 minutes educational talk that discussed varied topics which linked to Business lessons such as investigating businesses, business ownerships, aims and objectives, business activity and competitors, functional departments, marketing mix and shareholders and stakeholders' interests.
Students also enjoyed Cadbury’s workshop experience "Chocolate Doodling", writing their names with chocolate, and adding their favourite treat to a delicious pot of warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk. Finishing with The Bournville Experience enjoying the ride in the Cadbury Chocolate Quest and jumping aboard a Cadbury car to collect all the delicious ingredients with the help of Freddo and his trusty team of Buttons monkeys. On the success of their mission they received a Cadbury chocolate treat at the end as a reward. 19 Likes
