Cross-Country
Extra-curricular Cross Country at St Edward's provides a popular alternative to rugby, hockey and netball. The College has enjoyed success at local level over recent years with two of our pupils competing at national level.
Boys and girls in all year groups are welcome to participate in this competitive and fun activity. Pupils may be entered in competitive races or they simply take part in the club to improve their fitness levels.
There are eight main inter-school fixtures over the Advent and Lent terms. Liverpool Harriers Midweek Cross Country League is one of the competitions, which involves four meetings held at local parks, on Wednesday afternoons. The Merseyside Schools’ Cross Country League organises four fixtures on Saturday mornings at various venues throughout the season.
The Club offers an inclusive and encouraging environment to runners at all levels of ability.
